'Overcome' celebrates and benefits youth mental health

Register-Guard - 4/4/2019

April 04-- Apr. 4--The dancers of All That! Dance Company present "Overcome," a benefit concert celebrating overcoming life obstacles.

An ensemble of eight young women express hope, love and community with graceful movements that carry the story of piecing oneself back together in "Porcelain Heart." Sixteen-year-old Emily Singer will perform a solo soulful version of Lauren Daigle's hit "Rescue." And 20 high school dancers will flood the stage with the energy of "Leave A Light On."

All That! will donate all money raised from the show to the ElRod Center to support their mission of supporting mental health in local youth.

"Overcome" bounds to the stage at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at the Wildish Theater, 630 Main St., Springfield. Tickets $15; 541-688-1623 or dancestudio-pro.com.
