ISU to host student veteran event on March 25

Mar. 20—NORMAL — The VA Illiana Health Care System in partnership with Illinois State University's Veterans and Military Services Office will host a student veteran enrollment event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, March 25.

The event will be held inside Moulton Hall at ISU. Approximately 450 ISU student veterans will have the opportunity to connect with quality health care services. Enrollment experts will be on site so veterans can submit their applications on the spot.

Veterans need to bring their DD-214, or discharge papers, to apply. Pizza will also be available for veterans on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The event comes after the VA announced the expansion of the PACT Act, section 103, which now allows millions of veterans to enroll.
