Veterans can receive healthcare Feb. 8 in Moberly, COVID testing hours change at MRMC, Optimist Day proclaimed

Feb. 4—Local veterans interested in Veterans Health Administration services or counseling can visit the Mobile Vet Center 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at the parking of Orscheln Farm & Home store located at the intersection of N. Morley and Highway 24 in Moberly.

The mobile unit offers confidential counseling for post-traumatic stress disorder, military sexual trauma, and other service-related issues, according to a Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital news release. Veterans and families are invited and can call 573-814-6206 for more information.

Counseling is also available for bereavement, marriage, family issues, readjustment and transitioning between military and civilian life, according to the release.

MRMC COVID testing

Beginning Monday, February 8, the Moberly Regional Medical Center Drive Thru COVID-19 testing hours will be Monday through Friday from 2 — 3 p.m. at the circle drive at the hospital's main entrance.

To be eligible for a test, you must have a physician order or an already scheduled procedure with a standing order in place.
